Women's Sports Foundation Travel and Training Fund. The goal of the Fund is to provide financial support to female athletes with potential to be elite who have demonstrated financial need and would not otherwise be able to afford basic necessities like coaching, travel and equipment to achieve even higher performance levels and rankings without help. SOUTH AFRICA: Player development program - JVW South Africa. Trials every first and last Tuesday of every month. They only take a certain number of girls per age group, looking for strong football talent so they can develop your game. They will try and direct those needing a little more work to other teams. SOUTH AFRICA: The Schools league runs from April through to October each year. Currently the Schools League hosts 109 teams, participating in U15, U17 and Open Age Groups, with a total of around 2300 girls actively participating in the sport at School level in Gauteng. Players also now have the opportunity of being scouted from their school teams into club structures to further their sporting careers. South Africa Schools Football Association.
